I'm having the toughest time with shoes.
Originally, I bought Isotoner ballet slippers thinking they would be great AND comfy (plus I can't wear a heel). But, after trying them on with my dress I just don't like them. First, they definitely look like house slippers. Second, I HATE the way the satin forms to the shape of my toes, it just doesn't look very shoe-like.

So, it's back to the drawing board.
I started to look for inspiration pics:

Alissa,
My opinion, go with the simple white shoe (last one). You want a shoe that is comfortable and simple. The one above the white I like but too casual to go with your dress. If the white shoe is a soft leather, you will see the form of your toes - best to go out and try some on - say DSW. I will be going to see about shoes too - my heals much too high.
Much love,

I would say go with a simple ballet flat. It would still give the look of slippers, but not with your toes all sticky-out-y. :) They sell them everywhere these days! I like the plain white ones best.
